THE SIMPLER FRIENDLIER WAY TO CONNECT
Installation journey
At Loop Internet, we’re not just about connecting homes and businesses to the internet; we’re about connecting you to a world of possibilities. Our commitment to bring you the fastest, most reliable internet begins with our construction process, tailored to ensure minimal disruption and maximal efficiency.
What You Can Expect
Timely Updates
We’ll keep you informed every step of the way, from sign-up to installation day.
Minimal Disruption
We work hard to keep your property clean and safe, restoring any disturbed areas.
No Guesswork
You’ll always know what’s next—whether it’s marking utilities, scheduling a fiber drop, or installing your equipment.
Phase One
Building Out the Network in Your Area
Before we can bring fiber to your home, we need to build the foundation in your neighborhood:
- Our team installs mainline fiber in the public right-of-way (above ground or underground).
- You may see work crews, trucks, and utility markings nearby—this is all part of expanding access in your area.
- Once the network is in place and tested, we’ll notify eligible homes that they’re ready for service.
If you’ve already signed up, we’ll reach out as soon as your home is ready to be connected.

Phase Two
Pre-Installation Property Assessment
To prepare for a smooth install, we take a closer look at your home’s layout and connection options:
- Our team evaluates the best path to bring fiber from the street to your home.
- We consider underground or aerial access, driveway crossings, and landscaping.
- If we need to bury fiber conduit, we’ll schedule a time that works for you—or complete it ahead of your appointment if possible.
This step ensures your installation goes quickly, with minimal impact to your property.

Phase Three
Utility Marking on Your Property
Before any digging takes place, we prioritize safety by identifying underground utilities:
- We coordinate with PA One Call (811) and local utility companies to mark things like gas, water, and electrical lines.
- You’ll notice small flags or painted lines in your yard—please don’t remove or disturb them.
- These markings are essential for preventing damage and ensuring a safe install.
The flags and paint are temporary and will naturally fade over time.

Phase Four
Fiber Drop to Your Home
Now it’s time to physically connect your home to the Loop network:
- We install a fiber line from our mainline to your home using the best route (aerial or underground).
- If underground, we use specialized equipment to minimize disruption and restore any disturbed areas.
This step may occur before your scheduled in-home installation or on the same day, depending on the setup.

Phase Five
In-Home Installation
This is where the magic happens—we bring fiber internet into your home and get you online:
- Our technician will install a small device called an ONT (Optical Network Terminal) inside or outside your home.
- This connects to your router and enables access to our high-speed fiber network.
- We’ll configure your connection, test your speeds, and confirm everything is working before we leave.
You’ll be up and running before we head out the door—and we’ll make sure you know how to get help if needed.
