On July 8th , Greenlight Networks announced that it signed an agreement to purchase Loop Internet. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Founded in 2015, Loop is a locally owned and operated internet provider headquartered in Scranton, PA. Dedicated to bringing the fastest, most reliable fiber internet to Northeastern Pennsylvania, Loop reinvests customer dollars locally, partners with regional businesses, and offers personalized customer service with a hometown touch. The company currently provides fiber internet services in parts of Wilkes-Barre, Mountain Top, Scranton, and Kingston; with several neighboring communities under construction and coming online soon. We expect the transaction to close later this year, subject to customary regulatory approvals.
